Squonk creates boisterous outdoor spectacles by fusing fantastical visual design, playful staging, and high-energy original music. Witty and whimsical, Squonk’s free performances bring audiences together to celebrate humankind and our often peculiar world.
What is Brouhaha?
Brouhaha is an outdoor spectacle that combines music, imagery, and audience participation. The show features a Squonkcordion, a large musical instrument with bellows and tuba bells, and the audience is invited to play it. The music is a mix of styles, including brass, keyboards, winds, and guitar riffs

In support of arts for all programming, Waco Cultural Arts Fest dba Cultural Arts of Waco advocates for art in public spaces.
EDUCATION & PROGRAMMING
We believe in supporting the arts and arts education year round. As our goal is to bring the arts to all sections of Waco, we partner with groups during the school year and summer to provide art programming to students of all ages.
- Art at the Arc is a summer art camp we host in collaboration with the Arc of McLennan County for students with autism and cerebral palsy.
- We partner with Arc of McLennan County Opportunity Center, which teaches independent-living skills and entrepreneurship to young people with Autism-spectrum disorders through the arts.
